Benjamin Gaulon (born 1979) is a researcher, artist and has a broad experience of acting as art consultant, public and conference speaker and art college lecturer. His research focuses on planned obsolescence, consumerism and disposable society, through the exploration of détournement, hacking and recycling. His projects can be softwares, installations, pieces of hardware, web based projects, interactive works and are, when applicable, open source.
In 2011 he has created the Recyclism Hacklab. A shared studio space where he leads regular Mentoring Session to support the Hacklab members in their research.
